Frequently asked questions
What counts as an OCR page?
One image = one page. For PDFs, each rendered page counts once, regardless of how much text it contains. Failed jobs are never billed against your quota.
What happens when I hit my monthly quota?
Job-creating requests return HTTP 402 with the code quota_exceeded — nothing silently degrades and nothing is billed automatically. Upgrade any time and the new quota applies immediately; quotas reset on the first of each calendar month.
How does the 20% yearly discount work?
Choose yearly billing at checkout and each plan costs 20% less per month, billed once per year. Starter becomes $15.20/mo and Professional $63.20/mo.
Can I switch or cancel plans at any time?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing through Stripe. Downgrades and cancellations apply at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
Do I need a credit card for the Free plan?
No. The Free plan is free forever — 100 OCR pages, 10,000 TTS characters and 1 GB of storage each month, with no card on file.
Is my data used to train models?
Never. FastVision runs on your infrastructure, and we have no access to your documents or audio at all. There is no telemetry that includes document content.
What does Enterprise actually include?
